To look for information in the Los Rios Libraries, just type in your search term(s):
When your search results come up, you will see options to limit your search on the left side of the screen. You can limit by date, or by resource type (articles, books, etc.). Many items will be available online, but we also have a very large collection of Art related books in both our main campus and El Dorado Center libraries.
Sometimes it is useful to do a deeper search in an individual database to find all of the relevant items on your topic. For this assignment, the following databases should be useful.
High-resolution images of architecture, painting, sculpture, photography, decorative arts, and other forms of visual and material culture. Register within Artstor to organize images and create presentations.
Background information from general and subject encyclopedias.
Background information, artist biographies, and images of Western and non-Western art.
